Abigail Mann
Abigail joined Photiades Solicitors as a Consultant Solicitor in 2011 and has more than 25 years’ experience in legal practice. She is known for her diligence and sensitivity when assisting her clients and for adopting a holistic approach to their needs. She specialises in the areas of Property, Wills, Probate and Tax.
She has a wealth of experience in guiding clients through all property transactions, with an expertise in the sale and purchase of both freehold and leasehold properties, registered and unregistered land, new build, mortgages, re-mortgages, buy-to-let, equity release and shared ownership. Abigail also advises on rural, agricultural and development projects. She also has an excellent understanding of Planning Law, including Listed Buildings and Building Control.
Abigail has extensive experience in advising on trusts, tax and estates. She supports her clients in drafting Wills, applying for Probate and in the Administration of Estates on their behalf. Abigail also specialises in later life care and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Abigail is well respected within the legal community having previously managed Alan Mann & Co, the family law firm, which merged with Photiades in 2011. Abigail has vast experience of lecturing in law at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
When away from her desk Abigail is passionate about the outdoors, is a member of a whisky club and runs social action projects which benefit the wider community, including working with refugees, mentoring, environmental and youth programmes.
